This drive can be used to perform OBD UNLOCK on MEDC17 using the old CAN protocol (non UDS).
It can also be used to perform flash updates using the new sgo file utility.

OBD UNLOCK is now supported for:
VAG EDC17x UDS
VAG MED17x UDS
VAG EDC17x CAN TP2.0
VAG MED17x CAN TP2.0

Tricore Boot

    • Bosch service mode is now supported for reading passwords on locked ECUs (such as BMW F-series)
    • Some protocols bugs corrected
    • This will be the last update of tricore to work without TPSG. All future updates WILL REQUIRE TPSG.

 

This update only works for users with the latest MPPS interface (from SN 43xxxxxx > onwards).

Older hardware is no longer supported, however it can be upgraded here.
We are offering a special price until 19/08/2016!

Also existing tricore users can add the new TPSG interface here.

Added new VAS FRF file special function utility in tricore boot:

• • • • Create MPPS container file from FRF file.
        Can be used to perform software updates using new protocol in MPPS.

• • • • Create OBD UNLOCK MPPS container file from FRF file.
        Can be used to perform OBD unlock using new protocol in MPPS, currently supports Bosch EDC17C46 and EDC17C64.

• • • • Create READ UNLOCK MPPS container file from FRF file.
        Can be used to perform full read unlock using new protocol in MPPS, currently supports Simos PCR. More options will be added for this ECU in future releases!

• • • • Create BIN file from FRF file.
        Can be used when ECU can not be read from OBD.

Please note: AMT-Cartech do not provide FRF files!

Corrected various database and protocols errors.

This will be the last update for tools with serial numbers 41xxxxxx and 42xxxxxx and some of the new functions on this update will not be available for old hardware users.

The next release will support only newer hardware from serial numbers 43xxxxxx >
Users of older tools will be able to upgrade, details will be released before the next major update..

This version has been completely rewritten for Windows 10 support.

There is now a new download manager which will be used for hot fixes as well as full updates.
You can now right click the ECU info window and save the contents to disk.
